Pepsi: Love Vietnamese

Client: Pepsi

Project: Love Vietnamese

Main Challenge: Turning a broad national concept into simple, personal user experiences that spread quickly.

The Challenge

The more buyers you serve, the simpler your idea needs to be.
Simplifying a message for a massive audience is really hard.
We learned this while creating a national campaign for Pepsi.

The challenge is making a broad concept feel personal to everyone.
Mass campaigns need simple ideas that trigger strong personal connections.

Pepsi succeeded with this approach.
↳ They built a campaign around national pride and local culture.
↳ We localized the experience based on where each person lived.
↳ Users created personal Facebook avatars to share online.

✓ It looked simple, but it spread rapidly across social media.

Great campaigns start with simple human ideas.
Look at Coca-Cola printing individual names on product cans in Vietnam.
That was one of the most successful campaigns I've seen in the past.

The simpler the idea, the harder you must think to create it.

We work with a diverse range of target brands across industries.
